The person behind the camera matters for both your experience and the way your images look. I’m passionate about both!

I’m Jessica Lagomarcino

I’ve been in this business for 15 years now, and though I love working with new clients all the time, many of my clients have been with me forever (many for more than a decade now!) I think it’s because we have bonded over the years and smiles and the way their kids change from year to year. Plus, I think it helps that one of my top goals is to make our sessions fun for kiddos and reluctant dads and anybody in between. It’s one of my greatest honors in life to cause your true personalities, laughs, and love for each other to pour out and then to capture it artfully. I think God has given me this skill so that I can preserve for posterity the chubby thighs of your precious baby, the giggles of your kids, and the way that your love looks at you. I can’t wait to make magic together!

I stepped into their brightly lit, tidy St. Matthews home, and just knew we were going to make some magic. I greeted big brother Beau. He’s only “big” brother by a little. The two have just 18 months between them, just the way my first two babies did. It’s a season of having two cribs, two in diapers, two needing lots of attention and snuggles. As much work as this season is, wow, it is a gift!

Jessica has been photographing our family for a decade now–so obviously there’s some magic there for us to keep coming back year after year. From the first time I met her 10 years ago, to where we are now she always shows up with a welcoming, calm confidence that puts everyone at ease and sets us up for capturing some great photos. We worked with Jessica last fall for our first ever family professional photo shoot. I had the usual concerns of uncooperative children, what to wear, etc. Jessica did an AMAZING job of providing helpful recommendations beforehand and was outstanding to work with. Her warm and inviting personality made us all (including my kids) feel relaxed and enjoy the entire experience! I can’t say enough about what a great job Jessica did. I’m so thrilled with how our photos turned out. She was accommodating and easy to work with. I have four littles who lose interest quickly, so our photo sessions have to be quick and efficient. We actually finished early and my people were thrilled! She offered just the right amount of guidance and rolled with it when I switched directions. We couldn’t be happier with the special memories she captured.
